CBD Big Bud Super Skunk is a feminised strain from CBD Botanic. The original Big Bud Super Skunk underwent phenotypical selection many years ago and has been a very successful strain in various cannabis competitions. It is a fast and vigorous developer whose smaller leaves become absolutely covered in resin-bearing trichomes, a facet which makes it ideal for making a range of extracts from.
CBD Big BUd Super Skunk is 90% indica. Indoors flowering takes 8 weeks yielding between 450 - 550 gr/m2. There are few large, shade leaves so harvesting and manicuring manually is straightforward. It will also do well when grown outdoors where it will reach 170 cm or more. Due to the density of the buds great care must be taken to prevent mould ruining the buds; for this reason greenhouse grows can be tricky - ventilation is essential. Wherever it is grown some support is recommended for the buds as these can become very heavy.
THC production is approximately 6% with 7% CBD. Dried buds have an enticing aroma of pine, lemon and incense (myrrh). There is a general recommendation for medicinal usage although no specifics have been supplied.
