To produce Meganuska Elite Seeds updated a 2002 Matanuska Tundra from Alaska with a California Skunk strain. It is 80% indica, 20% sativa and is characterised by being a small, bushy plant with one very big kick! It is fast-flowering, a facet that can be attributed to the fact that the original Matanuska Tundra was bred to mature successfully in the very short growing season in Alaska.
This plant can easily be cultivated indoors as well as outdoors. When planted in the ground outdoors it can actually become a very large plant, bushy with plentiful side-branching and attaining a height of up to 250 cm. It develops enormous trichomes with sparkling resin crystals being exuded that resemble little diamonds. Flowering time is 8 weeks indoors or during early September outdoors in the northern hemisphere.
The perfume and flavour of Meganuska is complex, sweet and sour with notes of chocolate. THC production is 18% and the effect is intense, narcotic and quite overwhelming - not at all suitable for those of a nervous disposition or the relatively inexperienced consumer.
