Lemon Skunk was created by selecting two pheno type cannabis plants from a large garden of Skunk plants. Pheno's are plants that show slightly different characteristics to their sisters from the same mother. The two pheno's were selected for their particular lemon smell and for the various desired traits the breeder was looking for. This selection process takes time to find the strain you want but the result is worth being particular with.
Lemon Skunk grows very similar to Skunk #1 and many of the other Skunk pheno's we know today. It is relatively short in stature and grows very easily with resilience to most garden issues. Commercially it is more than viable as you get a high yield of strong buds and you don't loose any plants as they are very easy to maintain. Buds have a very high bud to leaf ratio which makes this one easy to trim and the buds get plenty of light during flowering.
The finished dry skunk buds are of a nice green color with zesty citrus smell and taste. The high associated with Lemon Skunk is mostly happy and euphoric with medicinal benefits mostly suited to stress relief and mild anxiety. Get yourself a nice refreshing beverage as this one will leave your mouth feeling dry but other than that it is a delightful strain all round.
