Banana Split is a squat, shrub-like plant that was bred by crossing Chocolope with White Widow. It exhibits the profile of a bonsai plant and has vigorous lateral growth requiring quite a bit of space to spread its wings. It is 65% sativa and delivers decent yields for such a small plant.
Banana Split grows to a height of 80 - 100 cm. tall and its lateral energy makes it a good candidate for SCROG grows.Its buds are large and dense and are simply packed with resin. When grown indoors the flowering period is 9 weeks with production of 350 - 450 gr/m2. Outdoors harvest is rather late, November in northern latitudes, producing between 450 - 550 gr/m2. This late harvest restricts outdoor cultivation to regions where the weather will not cause the grower any difficulties, somewhere like the Mediterranean should be ideal.
The aroma is somewhat earth with fresh and fruity undertones whereas the flavour is a delicious combination of sweet and pungent reminiscent of bananas and jellybeans. THC production is around 13.8% with 0.1% CBD. Its effect is energetic and will be very suitable for creative endeavours. Therapeitic applications include depression and fatigue.
